Frequently Asked Questions about Sozo sessions
A Sozo session is a time for you to meet with God to gain His perspective, experience His love and know His truth. As an inner healing and deliverance ministry, confidentiality is of utmost importance and the session is conducted in an honouring and unobtrusive manner. It is facilitated by one or two trained members of our team. Their role is to guide you through helpful questions as needed, and to keep note of the beautiful things God reveals to you. One session usually lasts around 2 hours.
Although a Sozo session will be leading you in a conversation with God, as this is our belief, you do not need to be a christian. You simply need to be curious enough to see whether He has anything helpful to say.
Not at all. If you’ve been feeling stuck in certain patterns of behaviour or thought and feel that you are not able to
get out of a cycle, then a Sozo would be a wonderful way to begin making progress in these spaces.
These sessions have a way of bringing freedom and healing, and this most often leads to deep honesty.
Sessions are completely confidential, and team members keep no records [except where we are bound by
law to take note of potential legal issues] and have no discussions about sessions. You will be sent home with
the truths God shares. God is always gentle, kind and honouring and He will never expose and shame you, even
if the session is vulnerable.
Sozo tools are meant to be for the benefit of the person involved. A person coming for a Sozo needs to have chosen and committed to it for themselves. Nobody else has any say in the matter.
After your session, we will provide you with some scripture and suggested best practical tools. Following that key direction has proven to be very helpful. It is best to meditate on what God has said, declare what He has spoken to you, believe what He has revealed to you and allow yourself time to form new habits.
